Who it's for

Built for the individual learner — your career, your credential.

Working professionalsYou want a credible, current AI skill set and something to show for it, not another untracked afternoon webinar.
Career switchers & graduatesYou need proof you can actually use AI on real work, in language a hiring manager understands.
Freelancers & ownersYou want to put AI to work in your own business and have something concrete to show clients for it.
What you'll be able to do

Finish able to use AI, not just talk about it

Every module is practical. You build as you learn and walk away with a project you can show.

  1. Use AI on real work, safelyPrompting that holds up, knowing when to trust an answer, and where the limits are.
  2. Build useful workflowsTurn repetitive tasks into repeatable AI-assisted workflows, not one-off tricks.
  3. Ship a portfolio projectYou leave with a real artifact you built, not just a certificate that says you attended.
  4. Explain your choicesDefend why you used AI the way you did — the judgement that separates skilled users from prompt-copiers.

What's covered

Six modules, each ending in something you've built or decided — not a quiz.

  1. 01What the models actually doWhere today's tools are strong, where they quietly fail, and how to interrogate an answer instead of trusting it.
  2. 02Prompting that holds upGetting dependable output on your own work — context, structure, and checking the result before you rely on it.
  3. 03Handling data sensiblyWhat not to paste, how to treat client and personal information, and the judgement calls in between.
  4. 04Building a workflowTurning one repetitive task into something repeatable — and judging which tasks are worth automating at all.
  5. 05Your portfolio projectScope, build and finish one real artifact end to end. This is the thing you show afterwards.
  6. 06Defending your choicesExplaining why you used AI the way you did. This is what the assessment tests, not recall.

This outline is still in development. Module detail, total effort and whether it runs live or self-paced are confirmed when enrolment opens — waitlist members get it first.

Put it on your learning budget

Many employers give each person a training or education-reimbursement budget — and those schemes often want a certificate and a receipt rather than just attendance. That's the paperwork this certification is built to produce.

  1. 1Check your policyMany learning-budget and tuition-reimbursement schemes ask for a certificate and an itemised receipt, not just proof you turned up. Policies differ — read yours before you count on it.
  2. 2We give you what they ask forAt launch you receive a certificate and an itemised receipt — the paperwork reimbursement teams need.
  3. 3Submit and get reimbursedYour employer pays for it, and you keep a credential that's yours for life.

Frequently asked

Is the certification available now?

Not yet — the first cohort opens in Q4 2026 and we're building it properly. Join the waitlist and you'll hear before it opens publicly, with no payment to reserve your place.

Is it accredited by an external body?

No. This is a Fautons certificate — we assess your work and we stand behind it, but no university or awarding body accredits it, and we won't pretend otherwise. What it evidences is that you built something real and can explain your choices. If your employer or regulator specifically requires an accredited qualification, check that first, because this may not satisfy it.

Can I expense this through my company's learning budget?

Often, yes. Many reimbursement policies ask for a certificate and an itemised receipt rather than just attendance, and we provide both at launch. We can't promise your employer will approve it — policies vary and some require external accreditation, which this doesn't have. Check yours before you count on it.

Who is this for?

Individuals — working professionals, career switchers, graduates, freelancers and owners — who want a current, hands-on AI skill set and a credential to show for it. If you're buying training for a whole team, see our team and enterprise programmes instead.

Is it hands-on or theory?

Hands-on. You build a real portfolio project as you go and finish able to use AI on your own work, not just describe it.

What will it cost?

We'll confirm pricing when enrolment opens. Joining the waitlist is free and commits you to nothing.
